Redevelopment!
The boules tournament court at "Cap d'Agde", as pictured in the Daily Mail on 18th April 2009 has been subject to redevelopment. As announced in our April 2007 newsletter, we laid a new boules court on one of our terraces. The site of our original temporary court is now home to a pergola which supports our grapevines and also provides an additional shaded area for our guests. The old court and players are no longer available to be transported across Europe via the media for use at tournaments in other naturist resorts.

Beach day at Praia das Adegas.

On Sunday 21st June 2009 we joined the Clube Naturista do Algarve at their midsummer beach meeting. No specific activities were organised, it was purely a day to relax, meet other naturists and take a cooling dip in the sea. The lifeguard was flying a yellow flag, so we were only allowed to go in up to the waist, or a little deeper if a wave caught us by surprise

Adegas beach day

In the late afternoon, once the tide had gone out, we collected cockles and mussels from the rocks in front of the headland which separates Praia das Adegas, an official naturist beach, from Praia do Odeceixe, the town beach. We were not peeping at the strange people wearing bathing costumes on the adjacent textile beach, as the picture might suggest!
